Nature photography is distinguished from landscapes by having more intimate compositions. The intricate details of flowers, the textures of forests, the action of wildlife and small worlds missed if you are not paying attention make up the subject matter of these galleries.

These discrete categories indeed are fluid, as many of the wildflowers are found in photos from my landscape galleries, and indeed many of the wildlife have their habitat in said landscapes. Really, the categorization of subjects is to help guide you through place rather than be lost looking for a bird in a complicated forest.
